| Overview:
When we want to improve the team's performance, we normally focus on the things they are not good at and take for granted the things they do well. We thus aim to produce all-rounded but only average performers. Strengths theory, which builds on the idea that we each have a unique potential, argues that it is better for the individual and the organisation if strengths are made even stronger and potential developed than to waste time and resources on trying to improve weaknesses. |
