| Overview: When we think about the past, we cannot avoid thinking about the great leaders of the past. We think of people like Moses, Caesar, Boadicea, William the Conqueror, Mohammed, Napoleon, Churchill, Gandhi. Diverse though these figures were, they all had one thing in common: the ability to inspire and enthuse. The ability to inspire and enthuse is also needed in how we run organisations in a time of global competition. For management alone is no longer enough; we also need leadership skills. |
